Original Misfit Reilly Smith returned to Las Vegas in a trade with the New York Rangers on Trade Deadline Eve. The Golden Knights sent Brendan Brisson to the Rangers in return. Smith was part of the Stanley Cup championship team with VGK. He was in Las Vegas for six seasons before he headed to Pittsburgh and the Rangers. He had 10 goals and 19 assists in 58 games with the Rangers. Brisson was playing for AHL Henderson. The former first round draft pick never found his footing in Las Vegas.
