Trade Deadline Wrap Up Special

In this episode of 32 Thoughts, Kyle Bukauskas and Elliotte Friedman highlight and break down all the major trades from Friday's NHL Trade Deadline. They kick things off with the Brad Marchand deal between the Panthers and Bruins (3:35). That's followed by the Mikko Rantanen trade between the Canes and Stars (13:44). They also delve into all the moves the Avalanche made this season while ultimately ending up with Brock Nelson (26:24). Kyle and Elliotte talk about what Toronto was able to accomplish (30:35) and get into the Dylan Cozens and Fabian Zetterlund deals for the Senators (38:13). They look at the Buffalo Sabres side of the Cozens trade (47:06) and Kyle and Elliotte talk about the Winnipeg Jets deals for Luke Schenn and Brandon Tanev (47:06). The guys discuss what the Oilers were able to do with the Jake Walman trade and how the Evander Kane stuff shook out (52:48), and they touch on a couple quiet days for the Calgary Flames and Montreal Canadiens (54:28). The Final Thought focuses on the Vancouver Canucks and their inability to move pending UFA Brock Boeser (57:19).
