30. Adopting After Grief: Part 2

Brittany Wermager is back with us this episode to tell us what is was like for her family as they started an adoption process after grieving the loss of their son Isaac. We talk about knowing when you are ready, dealing with pushback from others and working through readiness with your adoption agency. Brittany also beautifully shares about keeping Isaac in their lives and memories without constantly facing the pain and if she was able to relate more deeply to her son adopted from China through the trauma. Grief is apart of every adoption story in one way or another, so this is an incredibly helpful episode to understand grief and how it relates to adoption.
