Episode #81 could be one of FTK's longest ever. With Brett recording from Falls Creek and Joel from Box Hill the two kick the episode off announcing their partnership with Athletics Australia's Maurie Plant Meet which will be held in Melbourne on February 15th. They then discuss Patreon's new Chasing Paris UK series before secretly announcing the special guest for the upcoming live show at Runners Paradise on February 19th (tickets will be on sale next week). Brett & Joel cover some highlight performances over the weekend (shout-out to Pat Tiernan) before taking the listeners through their training weeks. Riley chats with Brisbane based marathoner Tim Vincent. The interview starts off horribly when Riley incorrectly assumes Tim is from the Gold Coast. From there, the boys smooth things out and talk about Tim's 2023 season - firstly his 2:17 marathon debut on the Gold Coast, then his 2:12 follow up in Kobe, Japan. Tim shares his unconventional build up to Kobe, and his outlook on what 2024 might hold for him. Finally, Tim shares his love of the round ball game.
