113 Advocate for Kids!: #PutKids1st

https://302.buzz/PM-WhatAreYourThoughts

Advocacy can take many forms, from speaking out publicly to organizing groups to writing letters to elected officials. Whatever the form, advocacy is an important way to bring attention to issues and make change. And although anyone can be an advocate, there’s definitely an art to being an “Effective Advocate”. Today, Dr. Gaggino talks with Dr. Pam Shaw who has perfected the art of advocacy. Among the many hats that Dr. Pam Shaw wears, (i.e., Professor of Pediatrics, Assistant Dean for Clinical Sciences, Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Services, President of the Kansas Chapter of the AAP– just to name a few), her passion to make things better for all children has no boundaries. Listen in to not only Dr. Shaw’s personal journey, but also about her work in Washington, D.C. on behalf of all children everywhere.
