Kenny Atkinson's Public Expectations for Evan Mobley and Thoughts from the Summer League Opener

On this episode of Locked On Cavs, Danny Cunningham (The Inside Shot, Cleveland Magazine, 92.3 The Fan) breaks down the Cleveland Cavaliers' first Summer League game against the Indiana Pacers. He analyzes key player performances, including Jaylon Tyson's impressive 20-point, 12-assist outing and Nae'Qwan Tomlin's dominant 30-point game. Cunningham discusses coach Kenny Atkinson's high expectations for Evan Mobley, suggesting he should be in the MVP conversation within three years. The podcast explores Tyrese Proctor's debut, the Cavs' strategy for long-term success through finding value in later draft picks, and the importance of player development. Cunningham also touches on the team's need to "win on the margins" and the potential impact of Summer League standouts on the Cavaliers' future roster construction.
