Give yourself what you need so you can show up as your best self. Release resentments or judgements that hold you down. You get it. Great advice on being the very best versions of ourselves. Cory has been a mediator for over 25. His thoughts about mindfulness and meditation are on instagram where he reaches over a million people a week.

Reframing your perspective is a powerful move. When you feel stuck or resistant, pause and look for the upside. Shifting your thinking from “I have to do this” to “I get to do this” engages curiosity. This turns every experience into a chance for growth, wisdom, and understanding.

Today’s guest is the amazing Penelope Smith…known joyfully as the grandmother of animal communication. She’s a founder and trailblazer in the field of interspecies telepathic communication and the author of classic books in the field, including Animal Talk, When Animals Speak and Animals in Spirit. She has a vast body of work and educational materials on the topic. In this interview, she shares her own journey to becoming an animal communicator, which actually came quite naturally to her, as well as many personal stories. I know some people will find this topic a bit woo woo, but you’ll be surprised how authentic and natural her philosophy and methods feel. In fact, I started practicing with my dog, Milo, right after this interview. We’re working on it! Penelope believes all of us have the ability to communicate with other species. Her approach emphasizes treating animals as spiritual beings — intelligent, feeling entities with souls. Makes sense! He gives us confidence that, yes, we can take charge of our health. In this interview, he shares practical advice and tools to help us crack the code on heart disease which still, hard to believe, is the leading cause of death. He believes that we can do much better…with a mix of testing (he says test don’t guess), a calcium heart scan, advanced labs if needed, a plant based diet, exercise, sleep, hormones, supplements and, if needed, medicine. He shares some of the research on a plant based diet and heart health, as well as its potential to reduce dementia risk. He’s very bullish on a plant based diet and you’ll understand why after listening to him. He’s passionate about making sure that we’re all as informed as possible. His extensive knowledge, experience and access to the latest research is truly empowering. And it’s nice that he’s a fun guy too.
