Embracing Neurodiversity and Authentic Motherhood with Lauren Scott

Embracing Neurodiversity and Authentic Motherhood with Lauren Scott

In this episode I sit down with Mental Health Therapist, Lauren Scott, and discuss themes of self-intimacy, the cost of authenticity, and how Neurodiversity intersects with how we heal, experience joy, and navigate motherhood.

Lauren shares her personal journey to becoming a therapist and how she realised that by integrating the power of nature into her practice, through Eco-therapy, she was able to create deeply transformative healing experiences for her clients. We discuss Lauren's personal and professional experiences with Neurodiversity, and some of the challenges faced by women and why there are so many of us going through late diagnoses.

In this beautifully rich conversation, Lauren emphasises the importance of creating supportive ecosystems for yourself and she offers practical self-care tips for mothers navigating Neurodiversity in a loud Neurotypical world.

For anyone navigating Neurodiversity and motherhood, this conversation is for you.
