Reacting to the Cleveland Cavaliers 2025-26 Schedule

On this episode of Locked On Cavs, Danny Cunningham (The Inside Shot, Cleveland Magazine, 92.3 The Fan) analyzes the newly released NBA schedule for the Cleveland Cavaliers' upcoming season. He examines the team's increased national TV exposure, with 24 games set for broadcast across major networks. Cunningham discusses the "baseball-type" scheduling, where teams play consecutive games against the same opponent, and its potential benefits for playoff preparation. He explores the more favorable March schedule, traditionally a challenging month for the Cavs, and breaks down the West Coast road trips. The podcast covers the 14 back-to-back game sets and identifies January and March as potentially difficult months. Cunningham also highlights key matchups, including the three nationally televised games against the New York Knicks, which he considers the biggest in the Eastern Conference this season.
