Forest were deservedly beaten by Marco Silva's Fulham, and despite a 20-minute period of pressure in the second half, can have no complaints about the result as the hosts offered far more threat in front of goal. The hosts had taken a first half lead and although the Reds had a good number of efforts on goal, Ryan Yates' first half header was ruled out for an offside. This felt like a symbolic result after Forest got battered at the King Power Stadium a few months ago, as a measure of how far the Reds have come. Two goals from Brennan Johnson decided the match, the first after VAR intervened on an offside call, and the second from a frankly sexy counter-attack.
