On Monday's Mark Levin Show, since our founding, freedom of speech remained relatively unchanged until the Supreme Court changed that in the New York Times v. Sullivan case. The problem with allowing entities to besmirch public figures as a part of free speech has created a space for the constant character assassination of political and ideological foes. Therefore, organizations like Media Matters can malign this program and related emails that they suggest participated in a 'coup plot.' As usual they're wrong. Then, President Biden is still pushing critical race theory in schools all over the country. Now in the form of a bill misleadingly named the 'Civics Secures Democracy Act' creates a federal mandate for this curriculum to enhance the teaching of 'racial inequities' and a national test with a new woke vision of history and civics. This national test would usurp the power of local school boards and nationalize neighborhood classrooms. Stanley Kurtz, Senior Fellow at Ethics and Public Policy Center, warns that the poison pill bill known as the 'Civics Secures Democracy Act’ will be passed by unsuspecting Republicans if parents don't intervene right now. Kurtz added that the bill ought to be known as the 'Critical Race Theory Destroys Democracy Act.' Afterward, Congressman Mo Brooks calls with an update on his campaign for the US Senate in Alabama. Mitch McConnell and phony conservative-sounding front group PACs are outspending the real conservative in this race. The stock market has tanked and the Federal Reserve is raising interest rates again because they miscalculated and subsidized massive deficit spending. The Democrats, without a single Republican vote, passed the largest deficit-spending bill in American history. Before that, 19 Republicans voted with the Democrats for an infrastructure bill that spent trillions more. This is why we have inflation. The country is now economically dislocated, and the Democrats' goal is to limit your choices like only getting gas on certain days, and controlling and lowering your electricity consumption. Biden, the Democrats, and the American Marxists are systemically dismantling the greatest economic engine this world has ever seen. The January 6 committee is a disgusting effort to criminalize a sitting president's right to challenge the results of an election until the electoral college votes are certified. The media suggests that former Attorney General Bill Barr will be the star witness in a criminal trial against former President Donald Trump. The Democrat Party doesn't fit into our system as a constitutional republic, it's an alien force in this country. On Friday's Mark Levin Show, there have been 50 terrorists caught at the southern border since October compared with only 2 in 2016. We must assume that terrorists see that we have a weak porous border and take advantage of it. Democrats have steadily followed through with their plans to defund the police and abolish ICE, this defies the 'Take Care' clause of the Constitution. This clause requires the staff of the President to follow the law whether they agree with it or not because it is the sole responsibility of the executive branch to enforce laws, not congress, and not the courts. By not supporting the overwhelmed border patrol, Biden, the Democrats, and their partners in the media are allowing fentanyl and sex trafficking to go on unchecked. Then, Rep. Ro Khanna claims oil companies are lying about global warming 50 years ago with the inception of OPEC. Khanna fails to realize that the left was crying about global cooling back then, not global warming. Democrats think they have all the answers and want to control everything. On Thursday's Mark Levin Show, Democrats should be paying for this one-sided January 6 propaganda and journalists should question whether or how they even cover something as propagandistic as this so-called hearing. They've created a fall guy in John Eastman a law professor that advocated for Trump. The Committee has cherry-picked testimony, depositions, and even interpretations of the law. They've failed to mention how Democrats have contested the counting of electoral votes in every Republican victory for the past two decades claiming the election was stolen as far back as 2001 when 31 congressional Democrats voted to challenge Ohio's electoral votes. The most recent example of their omissions is when Hillary Clinton objected to the 2016 election blaming voting machines and Russian interference. Let's not forget the riots and bombs found when Trump was inaugurated in 2017. They criticize Trump for waiting an hour to put out a video condemning the January 6 violence yet, to date Pelosi, Schumer, Biden, and the Democrats have still not put out any videos condemning the violence against Trump. Then, the January 6th Committee is using fissures in the relationship between Trump and Pence to exploit one against the other and former Attorney General Barr is dancing right into their trap. Pence's aide Marc Short is being used and this will have political blowback if Pence ever decided to run for President. All of this un-vetted, unchallenged, one-sided manipulation from the committee and the media happily reports on it as if it were fact. Later, Congressman Lee Zeldin calls in to share how challenging life in New York is because of the Democrat's single-party control and policies. Zeldin added that violence is also on the rise and combines with rising costs of living makes New York less and less livable and he intends to change that. Afterward, Democrats push against school choice and charter schools. On Tuesday's Mark Levin show, the January 6 committee is a disgusting effort to criminalize a sitting president's right to challenge the results of an election until the electoral college votes are certified. The media suggests that former Attorney General Bill Barr will be the star witness in a criminal trial against former President Donald Trump. Incidentally, former US Attorney Bill McSwain for Pennsylvania penned a letter to Trump in June of 2021 stating that he'd received multiple allegations of election fraud but was advised by his then-boss Attorney General William Barr to make no public statements about them. Despite the facts of this letter, Barr maintains that he was not aware of any widespread fraud. Then, James Adams was smeared as an atheist among other things and had a challenging relationship with Thomas Jefferson. In his election, Adams only won by three votes and his Vice President was Thomas Jefferson the next highest vote-getter even though he was from a different party. Most voters from the north voted for Adams and most from the south voted for Jefferson. In this election, the state legislatures choose their electors to decide the presidency. This is the key point; the power to choose electors comes from the state legislatures and in American History was considered more relevant than the individual voters because of the adherence to the Constitution's electoral college. In 2020 the State of Pennsylvania changed the laws for choosing electors which violates the constitution. Later, when Hillary Clinton lost in 2016 and alleged on multiple occasions that the election was stolen from her there was no call for a special committee. When members of Congress said the Trump victory was illegitimate and that the electoral college shouldn't be observed, no one even batted an eyelid at their rhetoric. But heaven forbid Trump make a similar statement, then it's time to indict him. If China attacks Taiwan and the U.S does nothing they will view this as weakness and come after us. Nancy Pelosi's January 6th Committee is conducting such a trial in their prime-time hearing. America has never seen such a committee where there is no representation from the minority, but for the never-Trumpers hand-picked by Pelosi. Pelosi is criminalizing political disagreements. The committee has nine former federal prosecutors and U.S attorneys focused on painting Trump as a seditious criminal, while Trump isn't allowed any representation and the witnesses can't call even respond by calling their own witnesses or cross-examinations. It's simply political theater, but instead of state-run media, it's our own complicit press that will broadcast this sham. If and when Republicans gain control, they must investigate this committee and determine who can be legally held accountable. Al Gore challenged in 2000. The Florida legislature was set to intervene with a special session and name a slate of presidential electors, however, then-Chief Justice William Rehnquist took the case and didn't sit on his hands as Chief Justice Roberts did in 2020. The Republican legislatures in the battleground states that were in question had every right to name their electors if they felt that their authority under Article II of the Constitution was seized. Then, news reports indicate that a former employee of Media Matters for America, Timothy Johnson, tweeted that higher-ups knew that their colleague Ben Dimiero was a sexual predator who went after other employees. This program has invited Media Matters to respond to these allegations on the air. With thousands of witnesses interviewed by the January 6th committee, they didn't reveal much of anything. Ivanka Trump's testimony wasn't unusual given that she's left the White House at the time and wasn't plugged into campaign operations. No one questioned what information Bill Barr had seen, especially since most election issues are handled at the state level, not the federal level.
