This week on People of Substance by LemonSkies, Olga Moshinsky Woltman sits down with Lonnie Snyder, an innovative leader and a remarkable human. They first met while working at Special Olympics, and now Lonnie is leading technology for the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games in Minneapolis.

But his story isn’t just about tech. A single moment at a Special Olympics event changed his life forever. He and his wife, Michelle, were raising teens and preparing for an empty nest. Then, Lonnie heard a story that hit him so deeply, he walked out of that room with a new mission: to adopt a child in need of a home. That decision led them to welcome Miles, Magnolia, and Maddie into their family.

They talk about leadership, purpose, and how technology can build a more inclusive world.
