This week, I bring you my conversation with author, Jen Babakhan. Jen is a former marketing executive turned stay-at-home mom. In her new book, Detoured: The Messy, Grace-Filled Journey from Working Professional to Stay-at-Home Mom, she writes of the tension between wanting to maintain a career while feeling the pull to remain at home with her newborn son. Throughout our conversation, Jen openly and honestly acknowledges the pressure between the inclination to financially contribute while also desiring to be the primary caregiver at home.
