Food Insecurity, Social Justice, Eating Disorders, & Body Love With Body Image Coach Leslie Jordan Garcia

In episode 23 of Dr. Marianne-Land: An Eating Disorder Recovery Podcast, I spoke with Leslie Jordan Garcia, MBA/MPH, Certified Eating Disorder Recovery Specialist (CEDRS), and Personal Trainer. Leslie and I examined food insecurity, social justice, eating disorders, and body love.

ABOUT LESLIE JORDAN GARCIA

Leslie is a multi-certified ED recovery and fitness professional who is on a mission to dismantle barriers to ED treatment and fitness. She holds dual master’s degrees in business administration and public health, with a career across healthcare, education, and non-profit sectors. She feels fortunate to combine her expertise with the additional lived experience at the intersections of binge eating disorder recovery and life in a larger body and loves being the Hype ED Recovery Coach! Leslie went into the eating disorder field because there were gaps in perspective and representation during my treatment and as my career shifted, the potential to fill those gaps and impact lives became too great for me to continue to on the path she was on. She believes she can and does make a difference. Leslie lives and works as a coach and trainer out of Austin, Texas, in the United States. She also coaches virtually all over the world!
