Mentoring and its Tie to the Tennis Players Success

This is Episode 39 of Beyond Top 10 as role models are discussed and a coaches responsibility to parents that are coaches and the power of influence. Positive and negative environments are touched on and their impact on players/athletes and their performance. Additional insights are shared on the power tussle in relationships and why not all players will in fact progress towards the Top 10. We then touch on the role of influence with a personal recount shared of influential coaches and negative experiences as an adult. This is then trumped by the positive, the long-term impact of good coaches to highlighting the peak performance cycle and a coaches pedagogy.
