As Princess Catherine continues her treatment since announcing her cancer diagnosis, she's spending much of her time at what's being called her sanctuary. It's a ten bedroom country house that was given to Kate and William as a wedding present by the queen. It's hours away from London and sits on 20 thousand acres to keep the paparazzi far away. Eleven years ago, Inside Edition was inside that concert hall, covering Donald Trump's Miss Universe contest. Plus, Senator Katie Britt tells us Junior Miss had a tremendous impact on her life...instilling her the confidence she needed to speak up for what she believes in. Without the opportunity, she believes she wouldn't have become the first woman from Alabama elected to the U.S. Senate. And when the news is frightening, as Princess Catherine stressed, it's not easy to tell the kids. Les Trent spoke with an expert on the best way to break difficult news. It's an indicator of just how damaged the credibility is of Britain’s royal family. No doubt you saw that video of Princess Kate at a farmers market with her husband Prince William. The former president says the anchorman defamed him when he said Trump had been found liable for raping E. Jean Carroll. Plus, authorities say a man shot and killed a state police officer who'd stopped to give him a hand with a flat tire. And last night's Oprah Winfrey’s primetime special on weight loss aimed to take the shame out of using drugs to shed pounds.
