We've heard about the crackdown on spring breakers…now the search is on for a college senior who's been missing after he was reportedly asked to leave a honkytonk on the strip in Nashville. He was last seen Friday night on surveillance footage, stumbling as he walked down the sidewalk. Now his anxious parents are talking to Les Trent about the search. And it's a social media staple for more than 170 million Americans…but TikTok's future is looking uncertain now that the House of Representatives has passed a ban on the Chinese owned app. It now heads to the Senate where it faces a more uncertain fate - and an army of young TikTok users are inundating their senators - at TikTok's suggestion - urging them to save the app. Plus, first he was fired by CNN, now's he's been let go by Elon Musk - even before his show appears on X. Don Lemon says his first guest was supposed to be Musk himself, but after the interview, Musk cancelled his show. Lemon says the interview will still be posted on YouTube. And she got her start on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and went on to star in X Men: The Apocalypse. Now, just days after wowing on the Oscar red carpet, Olivia Munn is revealing she's battling breast cancer.   To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. 20 years ago Scott Peterson was convicted of killing his wife Laci and their unborn son. He has always proclaimed his innocence and now he has a powerful ally. The LA Innocence Project has taken up his case and is calling for a new trial. As Les Trent reports, today Peterson was back in court. And more than 19 million people tuned in for Sunday night's Oscars…the highest in four years. As Jim Moret reports, we're learning more about the drama that went on behind-the-scenes. Plus, a man was hiking in Hawaii when he came upon an emaciated dog, stuck near a 1,000 foot peak. The dog was too weak to make it down on its own...so the hiker carried her. Les Trent on saving a pup named Stevie. And the man who was attacked by a crocodile and lived to tell the tale. Even though the Oscars were scheduled to start an hour early this year, they were still late. Organizers thought they'd prepared for any interruptions. However, demonstrators still gummed up the works and the telecast started five minutes late. Jim Moret has a look at the drama you didn't see on TV. And most people wait until after the show for their reviews…but Jimmy Kimmel was critiqued in real time by the former president. Donald Trump posted on social media that Kimmel was "the worst host ever." Kimmel didn't waste a moment to share the review. Plus, it was the photo that was meant to quell the speculation about Princess Kate's post operative condition. Instead it caused an uproar that prompted prominent news agencies to pull this photo of Kate and her children from circulation. Editors determined it had been doctored - and this morning, Les Trent reports the princess admitted, she had edited it. And silverback gorillas are considered the top of the animal kingdom, incredibly strong and hugely territorial…and two Texas zookeepers nearly found out the hard way how true that is. Steven Fabian with video that has mouths dropping across the country. President Biden was fired up during his final State of the Union before the 2024 election and despite Republicans being told to behave...conservative firebrand Marjorie Taylor Green couldn't hold back - decked out in a red “Make America Great Again: cap - she heckled the president from her seat. And like kids across America - when it was recess time at elementary school an adorable eight-year-old went to the playground. Then tragedy, as his parents say he fell from a slide, hitting the hard ground below, causing his death. Playground slides are used safely every day, which makes this all the more shocking. Steven Fabian reports. Plus, police are patrolling Miami’s South Beach on ATVs as spring break gets into full swing. We've told you how authorities are trying to keep crime down with a clever PSA saying Miami was breaking up with spring breakers...so they should stay away. But is it working? Ann Mercogliano finds out first hand. And it’s the thing of nightmares...you find out you won big in the lottery…but you can't find the ticket! As Jim Moret reports, it really just happened. So how did she celebrate making history? With a champagne shower! And we told you how basketball legend Charles Barkley threatened to punch any Black person he saw wearing a shirt with Donald Trump's mug shot on it. Well, he's not backing down. Plus, a three-year-old boy crawled out of a window while at his grandmother's house leading to a desperate search…every second counted since the toddler was wearing only a diaper. And if you've been on social media there's a good chance you've seen this lady. Her TikTok series “Who Did I Marry,” about her failed marriage, is a major sensation. She stayed in as long as she could but today Nikki Haley officially suspended her presidential campaign…without endorsing Donald Trump. Meantime, Trump supporters celebrated his Super Tuesday wins with a blowout party at Mar-a-Lago. But the question many are asking is - where was Melania? And if inflation at the supermarket wasn't bad enough, there's also shrinkflation - where companies give you less product for the same price. And that's even got Cookie Monster worked up. Plus, it's one of the most iconic photos of all time, a sailor kissing a total stranger, a nurse in Times Square celebrating the end of World War II. Now, there's outrage over a request to have it banned from the Department of Veterans Affairs in our Nation’s Capital because...that 70 year old kiss was not consensual. And a woman got quite the shock when she picked up her groceries left outside her door...and she noticed something horrifying. Someone had drawn what looked like a swastika on her box of seltzer…and what really got her shaking was when she checked her security camera and it was her neighbor who happens to be a former pastor.   To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices. March is when spring break happens and millions of students head to Florida for vacation. However, they may want to think twice about heading to Miami Beach. The city's just put out an announcement telling spring breakers - "we're breaking up with you." And these days when there's a big public event, there are usually protesters nearby. Picketers caused such delays at the Grammys that some artists almost missed their awards. So organizers of this weekend's Oscars are taking no chances. Jim Moret looks at the barrier being created to keep the Oscars conflict free. Plus, a deadly auto crash left two children dead when a car hit the horse and buggy they were in. Cops say a woman confessed to being behind the wheel - but they say she wasn't the driver. They say she switched places with her identical twin. And she's a single mom taking a trip by plane with her son…and when they landed, she was stopped by police who say they were alerted to a possible human trafficking situation. Les Trent talked with the mom who was wrongly accused and is understandably furious about what she and her four-year-old went through. If seven feet of snow's not enough…more snow is on the way to Northern California which is already dealing with record snow, and winds from a storm that hit over the Sierra Nevada over the weekend. About 100 miles of the main interstate through the area was closed and people were literally snowed in, including a man who kept his own blizzard video diary. And it's been more than six weeks since Princess Kate had abdominal surgery and she is still weeks away from resuming her public duties. Now we're seeing the first photo of the princess since her release from the hospital. Plus, she's about to sail into the record books as the first American woman to sail solo around the world. And what a voyage it’s been…she spoke via satellite with our Ann Mercogliano. And he's been in the spotlight lately thanks to his brother dating Taylor Swift...and today Jason Kelce was front and center as he made a tearful announcement that after 13 years with the Philadelphia Eagles, he's ready to hang up his helmet.
