Kayvon Thibodeaux New York Giants Defensive star talks rebuilding, finding greatness, off season moves, Saquon Barkley going to Eagles, Coach Daboll & Rookie Malik Nabers impressive training camp

"Be Somebody to Somebody...that's how I got here." Kayvon Thibodeaux As we continue to make our way through NFL Training camps, we continue to visit and sit with star players from around the league getting inside scoop, hearing never-told-before stories and going inside the locker room mentality of the 32 teams as they prepare for the 2024 season. Stopping in the Big Apple after a crazy wknd at Fanatics Fest, we get the opportunity to sit with one of the top defensive players in the league who is looking to lead the New York Giants out of their rebuilding phase and into the post season phase. New York Giants are working on getting back in contention for the NFC East title and we sit with Defensice End, Kayvon Thibodeaux who shares his honest insights into the team's path forward and how the last two years have been transformative not just for him, but for the entire Giants organization. Thibodeaux doesn't hold back as he shares his perspective, takes accountability, and gives blunt honesty about the current state of the team to Ryan, Fred, and Channing. He opens up about how this year's Giants team stands apart from the past, revealing how he and his teammates are learning from their mistakes and recalibrating to make a different type of impact this season. In this episode, Thibodeaux reflects on his journey from his Southern California roots to becoming an #5 overall NFL draft pick. He opens up about the lessons he learned along the way, candidly discussing the responsibility of making money and his commitment to spending his earnings wisely, regardless of outside opinions. Thibodeaux also touches on feeling underestimated as a player, and despite being one of the most dominant linemen in the league right now, preparing for his next chapter- whether that be being a coach in the NFL or managing a NY cricket league. Thibodeaux and the guys also dive deep into the Xs and Os of the game, discussing how changes to the team- like the loss of RB Saquon Barkley- is a loss but doesn't weaken the NYG, only fuels them to work harder. It is important to find consistency with his teammates and have everything "clicking"- as the defensive star candidly reflects on the disconnect that plagued the Giants over the past two years. Solidifying the defensive core with new additions and the excitement around first round pick Malik Nabers has the Gmen fired up and focused for the future. He tells the guys how pumped he is to showcase how the Giants have regrouped and redefined themselves this offseason under Brian Daboll's leadership. Joe Burrow Cincinnati Bengals Quarterback focused on being better each day, resetting from injury, bond with Ja'Marr Chase, reflects on Super Bowl Loss, dealing with personal criticism, pre game mentality, LSU royalty & football future

“I think I’m better right now. Mentally I’m faster, my body is bigger faster stronger…That’s what I love about the process of football and the grind; when you feel yourself improving that builds momentum back..." Joe Burrow Cincinnati Bengals Quarterback The Pivot Training Camp tour is in full swing as we visit NFL cities sitting with players and coaches around the league bringing you exclusive interviews and sideline conversations to get you ready for the football season. And we make a special stop for a Tiger who earned his stripes in Louisiana and now wears stripes in Cincinnati, the Bengal's franchise leader isn't just one who talks the talk, but actually walks the walk, with his journey speaking for itself. In partnership with Fanatics, Ryan, Fred, and Channing sit with one of the top players in the league, Joe Burrow, a QB who's not just one of the faces of football, but one of fashion, sports and culture globally. As the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 draft, Burrow has helped re-write the Bengals' record books, led them to a Super Bowl, ignited a fan base and earned the nickname Joe Cool. His success has been shadowed by injury with last November, Burrow undergoing season-ending wrist surgery, stalling his chances for another Super Bowl run but with new hair and a fresh outlook, Joey B is cool, confident, collected and letting the NFL world know, "I'm back and I'm better than before." In a conversation that spans further than the Xs and Os of the game, Burrow opens up about his process, his mentality on and off the field, pride and leadership within the Bengals locker room and his bond with college teammate turned favorite NFL target, Ja'Marr Chase. Despite losing some key offensive weapons this off-season, Burrow is excited about new additions and welcomes the weight of carrying the Bengals success on his shoulders. He doesn't allow personal criticism to affect him, ignores what people say about his off the field choices and how he spends his time but admits that sometimes words about his play and effort do get to him, only because of how much he cares and pours into his craft. Led by Joe Burrow, The Cincinnati Bengals have been one of the few AFC teams that's had Kansas City's number in recent years and the duals always come down to Burrow and Patrick Mahomes, with a Bengal win in 2022 that led his team to a Super Bowl. But with that game coming down to the last few plays, the Super Bowl loss to the Rams still haunts Burrow and he's on a mission to get his team back to the post season and a chance to play for the Lombardi this year in familiar territory of Louisiana. Revisiting Burrow's legendary run at LSU that earned him the Heisman Trophy and a National Championship, the guys talk about best-ever college football teams, talent transcending to NFL careers and most importantly, the grit and grind Burrow proved he's made of. Sharing close LSU ties, RC's been a fan of his play since day one but his respect and admiration for Joe goes far beyond the field as he appreciates the QBs non-wavering stance on important social issues, including racism and commitment in using his platform to induce change.  Busting chops, Ryan couldn't let Joe go without asking how the young star forgot about the OG in the infamous white party LSU photo from the summer. His response, much like all Joe does, is spot on, We’re half way through our tour, and will continue to bring sideline views and locker room conversations as we gear up for the return of the NFL season! Mike Tomlin: Pittsburgh Steelers Training Camp talking about Russell Wilson, Justin Fields, leadership, getting back to the Super Bowl, Coaching trees, legacy & 2024 NFL Season Preview

The Pivot Training Camp tour is in full swing as we visit NFL cities sitting with players and coaches around the league bringing you exclusive interviews and sideline conversations to get you ready for the football season. In partnership with Fanatics, we are pumped to drop this episode today! You already know this is one of our favorite stops of the year, the land of The Pivot colors, but long before the black and yellow belonged to us at The Pivot, it was RC's legacy in Pittsburgh and anytime we get to go back, it's always a time to be had. With a roster full of talent and star players, sitting with anyone would be a great show but we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to chop it up with the man himself, the one, Mike Tomlin!! Heading into another season as Head Coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Mike T gives us some insight to his thought process around training camp, paving the way for other coaches in the league and how loving football has kept him at the top of the game for 20+ years. No losing seasons, 2 Super Bowl wins, what’s The secret? Be open to change, willing to adapt and appreciate the people around you. While the biggest questions around the Steelers as the season kicks off is who will be their starting quarterback with the signing of Russell Wilson and Justin Fields, two talented and highly successful play callers, Coach Tomlin is more focused on the men they are and the leadership qualities each exemplifies. Football creates tough situations and Tomlin says it's his job to prepare players to handle business between the white lines, be ready to fight the fight and find ways to get through the difficult times as a team. Tomlin shares how coaching helped him become a better parent and now parenting has helped him become a better coach as players on his team are more the age of his own kids and he’s able to adjust to changes and better equip himself for being there for his players as he tries to bring out the best in them. 2024 goal? It's about winning. Tomlin knows the feeling of winning a Super Bowl and wants the guys in the locker room like Cam Heyward and TJ Watt, who have earned that championship feeling to be able to feel what it's like to have confetti rain down on them and set the tone for younger guys too. Philadelphia's Devin White, the Super Bowl Champion says why he took less to be on Eagles this season, accountability with Jalen Hurts, AJ Brown, competing against Saquon Barkley, Tampa Fall out, lessons from Tom Brady & his love of horses

Philadelphia's Devin White, the Super Bowl Champion says why he took less to be on Eagles this season, accountability with Jalen Hurts, AJ Brown, competing against Saquon Barkley, Tampa Fall out, lessons from Tom Brady & his love of horses

“I’m only looking forward to what’s in front of me, and I feel like a lot of good ball is left." -Devin White The Pivot Training Camp tour is in full swing as we visit NFL cities sitting with players and coaches around the league bringing you exclusive interviews and sideline conversations to get you ready for the football season. In partnership with Fanatics, Ryan, Fred, and Channing stopped by Philadelphia, to sit with one of the newest Eagles in the flock, Super Bowl Champion and Pro Bowler, Linebacker Devin White. The 2019 fifth overall draft pick has spent the past five years of his career as a core member in Tampa's top ranked defense, making headlines this offseason by bidding farewell to his Bucs and heading North to Philly. Devin opens up in a transparent discussion addressing all the rumors, the labels and miscues of recent years that have affected his reputation and tarnished some of the success he had in Tampa which has contributed to his mindset as he starts fresh with The Eagles, even willing to take less money to be in a situation better suited for him. While Saquon Barkley was a marquee signing on the offensive side of the ball, White is his defensive counterpart looking to make an immediate impact and allow his teammates to see him, not just as one of the most talented at his position but as a strong leader too. White’s locker room approach has already landed him a spot on Philly’s Leadership Council, recognizing that the Eagles were known for drama last season and leaking locker room issues, White hopes to combat that issue and has turned to QB Jalen Hurts and WR AJ Brown to hold each other accountable each day. The Bucs got some great play out of Devin White during their Super Bowl run in 2020, but since then it's been an up-and-down relationship that came to an end this past offseason. Since demanding a trade, rumors have swirled about White's relationship with his former team, and the reasonings behind the change of scenery. We asked him how he confidently pivoted from the loud whispers and began to focus on the quiet wins and sharing advice with others: "Don't believe everything you hear." A lot of that confidence comes from constant communication with mentors at LSU and Buccaneers players, staff, still to this day. Learning from the best of the best has not only given White self-assurance, but also a handful of stories. He tells the guys all about the Bucs locker room with the GOAT Tom Brady, and what went down with former teammate Antonio Brown that day he stormed off the field. Tapping into "Mr. Brady" through example and sharing exclusive stories, Devin is grateful to the future Hall of Fame QB for pouring into the team the way he did, for never settling and always demanding the best out of everyone which helped the team win another Championship. Outside of football, Devin has generated curiosity for his 'cowboy' lifestyle. He owns acres of land and has about 50 horses, an outlet that reflects upon with the guys as a safe space for mental health and escape from everyday pressures of football. His father and brother might no longer be with him physically, but spiritually they guide him towards becoming the higher version of himself and the foundation of his success. The 2021 Pro Bowler may have a chip on his shoulder to get back to the big game, but at the moment he says he is simply having fun playing ball again. And with a stacked roster, the NFC East power house is not drifting in easy, but rather a new focus and energy spurred from the top down starting with QB Jalen Hurts to A.J. Brown to Darius Slay to Saquon to Devin...all of these man have something in common, and that is to win and do whatever it takes to reach highest levels of success. Devin is looking to repeat his Super Bowl journey with his new teammates in Philly. Washington's Zach Ertz & Austin Ekeler 2 of the NFL offensive stars join Commanders under new ownership & join new Head Coach Dan Quinn with Rookie QB Jayden Daniels who's a proven leader & why the team is set up for immediate success under new regime

“If I were to be a head coach, I would want to be like Dan Quinn." -Austin Ekeler Commanders Running Back shares and is echoed by Super Bowl Champion Zach Ertz's words as well. ""Dan Quinn is probably the best person I've been around in front of the team by the way he leads..." The Pivot Training Camp tour is in full swing as we visit NFL cities sitting with players and coaches around the league bringing you exclusive interviews and sideline conversations to get you ready for the football season. Something for everyone in the episodes from the hardcore football fan who wants the inside scoop to the casual listener interested in the lives on and off the field of these athletes and coaches.  In partnership with Fanatics, Ryan, Fred, and Channing stopped by Virginia to visit Commanders camp, an organization that has gone through a complete refresh from ownership to front office to coaching to key player acquisitions including No. 2 overall draft pick in Jayden Daniels. We checked in with Jayden and caught up with veteran players, NFL stars Tight End Zach Ertz and Running Back Austin Ekeler who joined Washington this offseason and are looking to make an immediate impact. Ertz, a Super Bowl Champion, knows what a winning organization looks like and believes under Dan Quinn, the Commanders are built for it. Ekeler who's been known for red zone production is looking to contribute that same level and shares why this team feels different and attributes it to leadership from Dan Quinn to authenticity of how the organization is lead and how quickly Jayden Daniels is adapting to NFL situations. Personally, Ertz sheds light on how special it is having his wife, USA soccer star Julie Ertz, by his side this training camp for the first time in over a decade with no Olympic participation this summer as the Ertz family continues to grow and Zach understands his football journey is nearing the end. Similarly, Ekeler talks about how he recently just got married and how much that part of his life is bringing a different level of happiness and peace to his football journey. Both Ekeler and Ertz believe in this new Commanders team and that their talented roster will be ready to compete with the NFC's best this coming season and watching the group mesh on the field, we believe it too. Raheem Morris Head Coach of Atlanta on 2024 NFL Schedule, why he believes Kirk Cousins will lead Falcons to Super Bowl, the decision to draft Michael Penix, the best defenses he's coached & importance of people-first mentality & forgiveness

Raheem Morris Head Coach of Atlanta on 2024 NFL Schedule, why he believes Kirk Cousins will lead Falcons to Super Bowl, the decision to draft Michael Penix, the best defenses he's coached & importance of people-first mentality & forgiveness

"We cut players and we bring them back and we ask them to forgive, so what separates us [as coaches?]" Raheem Morris Head Coach of Atlanta Falcons The Pivot Training Camp tour is in full swing as we visit NFL cities sitting with players and coaches around the league bringing you exclusive interviews and sideline conversations to get you ready for the football season. Something for everyone in the episodes from the hardcore football fan who wants the inside scoop to the casual listener interested in the lives on and off the field of these athletes and coaches.  In partnership with Fanatics, Ryan, Fred, and Channing reunite with one of our favorite past Pivot guests and good friend, Raheem Morris. When we last caught up with Morris, the “then” Defensive Coordinator was reveling in his Super Bowl win with the LA Rams…Fast forward to now, and Morris is back at the helm of the Atlanta Falcons as he prepares for what he considers the opportunity of a lifetime as their new Head Coach.  Morris takes time to open up on his new role, his transparent insights on why the Falcons are "something to deal with" this 2024 season, and how his "people first" approach is shaping the team. Morris’ coaching journey has had its share of ups and downs, coaching some of the games’ best defensive players in Warren Sapp, Aaron Donald, winning Super Bowls, learning alongside some of the best in the business but also came with hard teaching moments in some painful losses and also, being fired by the team he is now back Coaching.  Ryan, who once played for Morris, asks his long-time friend about his evolution from a young "uncle figure" coach to a confident "father figure" in the league and the trust he has with his coaching staff. Comparing himself to the likes of J. Cole in the song “Middle Child,” Raheem talks about going from being a brother alongside players in his early days as a coach to now becoming a father figure.  The guys discuss how the football world was surprised with the Falcons first pick of the 2024 NFL Draft taking QB Michael Penix No. 8 after just acquiring Kirk Cousins from Minnesota…Coach says Penix is about building for the future while Kirk is the guy he believes can lead Atlanta to a Super Bowl. He and Ryan debate a little bit about the defensive side of the ball, but they agree there is no question guys like Bijan Robinson and Drake London will flourish with Cousins under center. He continues to talk about the roster full of talent and how he wholeheartedly believes this team has what it takes to not just be a competitor this season, but one of the elite.  Filled with some fun moments, towards the end of the conversation, Morris jokingly teases while paying tribute to his coaching mentors, the NFL greats and the guys ask him to craft his dream defense using players he’s coached throughout his career. One of his choices literally leaves Channing on the floor in disbelief, any guesses?  We’re just getting started with our tour, and bringing you sideline views and locker room conversations as we gear up for the return of the NFL season!
