This week I am speaking with Clover, a FSSWer who is living with fibromyalgia. Clover opens up about how she got into sex work and how she is able to deal with such a painful, chronic illness. As we all know, sex work can be a very viable choice for those who live with a disability, due to its accessibility and flexibility with scheduling. I've always wanted to do an episode on arrangements. Yes, I am very touchy when it comes to sugar babying and arrangements because I have thoughts on the topic (one day there'll be an episode this, I promise) so when Emily Monroe popped into my feed, I was like, "it's time". I'm honoured to bring on Jelena Vermillion onto the show this week. Jelena is an icon in the SWer advocacy space. She is also the founder and holder the largest SWer media archive in the world. You might be curious about what might be contained in the archive or what is SWer media archive. It houses a number of different media mediums such as zines, audio, articles, and more. Jelena shares with us on the podcast her story on how she got the funding for the archive (and it's an incredible story) and why she provides this for the community. I've been really looking forward to bringing this duo on from Pashunfruit Collective,its founder, Jamila Kream, and Carly Hughes-Horvath, their social media coordinator and photographer.
