Morning anxiety can feel like your body hits the panic switch as soon as you wake up. You’re feeling feelings of impending doom, heart palpitations, and/or panic attacks. Sometimes it feels like you’ve been hit by a truck.

I know how convincing that can be. Because I’ve lived through that loop myself.

So what I want you to know is that nothing’s wrong with your body. It’s a sensitized nervous system reacting to a normal cortisol rise as if there’s danger.
