Laura is joined by Dov Freedman, co-founder Curious Films and executive producer of the powerful and disturbing two-part Disney/Hulu documentary Caroline Flack: Search for Truth. On 15 February 2020, Love Island presenter and one of Britain’s biggest stars, Caroline Flack was found dead at her home in Stoke Newington, London; in August, a coroner’s inquest recorded a verdict of suicide. Before her death, Caroline was arrested in 2019 by the Metropolitan Police and later charged for assault. She became the target of a relentless media storm. Vilified in the press and online, her world spiraled. Caroline spoke with Dov about making a documentary about what really happened. The next day she was found dead. Devastated and distressed, Christine, Caroline’s mother, never stopped searching for the truth about her daughter’s final moments, and she agreed to do the documentary of the story Caroline never got to share.
