Lv: Jūrmala ziemā izskatās pavisam citādi.
En: Jūrmala in winter looks entirely different.

Lv: Bieži cilvēki iedomājas Jūrmalu vasarā, ar siltām smiltīm un saulainām dienām.
En: People often imagine Jūrmala in the summer, with warm sand and sunny days.

Lv: Bet šodien bija zils debess un auksts vējš.
En: But today the sky was blue and the wind was cold.

Lv: Smiltis bija mitras, jūras viļņi šalca fonā, un nekur nebija ne miņas no sniega.
En: The sand was wet, the sea waves roared in the background, and there wasn't a trace of snow anywhere.

Lv: Ilze, Andris un Mārtiņš devās uz pludmali, tīrā entuziasmā un pārgalvībā.
En: Ilze, Andris, and Mārtiņš headed to the beach, driven by pure enthusiasm and recklessness.

Lv: Ilze bija nolēmusi, ka ziemas monotone jāsašķeļ ar ko neparastu.
