When Lost Luggage Claims You

A warehouse worker stumbles upon a restricted “claimed” section filled with pristine, untagged luggage that doesn’t appear in any system records. Inside the bags, he finds deeply personal belongings—photographs, journals, keepsakes—that feel intimately familiar, as if they belong to people who never existed… or perhaps to versions of people who did.
The more he opens, the more his own memories begin to blur. Small details of his life shift. Conversations feel rewritten. Reality itself starts bending around the contents of the luggage. He eventually discovers the warehouse is more than a storage facility—it is a liminal trap, and the bags act as anchors for something that feeds on identity.
When he encounters a distorted version of himself in a warped, in-between space, he realizes the force isn’t just observing—it’s replacing. He tries to escape, but even after leaving the warehouse, the luggage continues appearing in his home, in his dreams, in the corners of his daily life.
The story becomes a chilling warning about curiosity, identity, and the terrifying possibility that somewhere, another version of you is waiting to take your place.
