A New Direction for Encourage Moment: Nervous System Support for Moms

A New Direction for Encourage Moment: Nervous System Support for Moms

In this short solo update, I share where I've been the past couple of months and the new direction for the EncourageMOMent podcast. I talk about my decision to pursue certification as a somatic anxiety coach and why it feels like the missing piece beneath home organization tips and mindset work. Instead of just focusing on "10 ways to organize your pantry," I'm increasingly convinced that we first need calmer, safer nervous systems to feel effective in our homes and daily lives.

I explain what somatic support can look like for overwhelmed, anxious, or highly sensitive moms- especially when we're stuck in chronic fight, flight, or freeze- and why we simply cannot think or plan our way out when our bodies feel constantly on edge. I share my heart for helping moms move toward more ease and regulation, so that routines, systems, and organizing actually become doable instead of one more thing to feel behind on.

I also give a preview of upcoming episodes and resources and I mention my plans to share short, practical somatic tools on Instagram- like quick bilateral stimulation demos and simple practices for when you feel anxious, frozen, or like you just want to run away.

If you've ever felt like "I know what to do in my home, but I'm too overwhelmed to do it," this new season is for you. I'm so glad you're here, and I can't wait to walk with you into this next chapter of EncourageMOMent. DM me @encouragemomentco with questions or topics you'd love to hear more about as we go.
