Lv: Saule beidzot bija parādījusies debesīs pēc ilgas un drēgnas ziemas.
En: The sun had finally appeared in the sky after a long and dreary winter.

Lv: Pavasara ekvinokcija bija klāt, un viss Miera ielas rajons bija dzīvs ar svētku noskaņu.
En: The spring equinox was here, and the whole Miera iela district was alive with a festive atmosphere.

Lv: Māju pagalmi rotājās ziedu vītnēm un krāsainām lentēm, dziedāja putni, un mazie bērni skraidīja pa puķu pārbrauktām zālājiem.
En: House yards were adorned with flower garlands and colorful ribbons, birds were singing, and little children were running across flower-covered lawns.
