Rich Robinson & THE BAND FEEL

Rich Robinson joins Eddie Trunk to discuss The Black Crowes' latest album 'A Pound of Feathers'. He explains their intentionally old-school approach to album releases, waiting until the record is available before doing press. Robinson shares insights into their creative process, revealing how he and brother Chris work quickly and instinctively in the studio, completing their latest album in just eight days. He reflects on the band's journey, their commitment to playing 100% live shows, and how they've overcome past dysfunction by prioritizing their relationship. Robinson also discusses their upcoming world tour, the evolution of their live band lineup, and his thoughts on their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nomination. Following that, Eddie Trunk welcomes Tyler Armstrong and Garrett Barcus from the emerging rock band THE BAND FEEL to discuss their musical journey. The duo shares how they formed the band, with Tyler from the Midwest and Garrett from Northern California, and how they've grown since touring with Dirty Honey, Black Crowes, and ZZ Top. They discuss their musical influences ranging from Deep Purple and UFO to Ray Charles and Chris Cornell, their upcoming full-length album set for mid-summer release, and the challenges of standing out in today's music landscape.
