This episode examines the relationship between the brain and experience, and challenges the common view that the brain explains our experience.

We explore the basic fact that the brain is physical (tissue, chemistry, electrical activity) and experience is subjective (thoughts, emotions, sensations).

These are two distinct types of phenomena that reliably correlate but cannot be couched in one another.
