Lv: Debesis bija pelēkas, un zeme klāja putekļu sega.
En: The sky was gray, and the ground was covered with a layer of dust.

Lv: Tikai asni un nelieli zaļumi starp akmeņiem liecināja par pavasara atnākšanu.
En: Only sprouts and small greens among the stones indicated the arrival of spring.

Lv: Raimonds skatījās uz tālo horizontu.
En: Raimonds looked at the distant horizon.

Lv: Viņa solījums sargāt Ilzi un Martu bija skaidrs.
