Hace mucho tiempo, las personas que llegaron a Nördlingen, un pueblo en Alemania, pensaban que estaban viviendo en un cráter volcánico. Pero en realidad, no fue un volcán lo que formó ese lugar, sino un asteroide. Hace unos 15 millones de años, un asteroide cayó sobre la tierra y causó un gran impacto. La fuerza del choque fue tan fuerte que cambió las rocas del suelo y creó una piedra especial llamada suevita. Esta piedra es muy interesante porque tiene pequeños diamantes dentro. Cuando los habitantes construyeron el pueblo con esta piedra, no sabían que contenía diamantes. Fue en los años 1960 cuando un grupo de científicos llegó al lugar y descubrió esta información. Hoy en día, Nördlingen es famoso por sus casas y edificios hechos con esta piedra especial. Muchos turistas visitan el pueblo para conocer su historia y ver los diamantes en las paredes. Es un lugar único que llama la atención en internet, donde muchas personas lo describen como increíble o asombroso.
