About rain in Singapore.

In Singapore, it rains a lot.

In the morning, when I look outside,

the sky is clear.

I think, “It looks like today will be fine.”

But after a while, it suddenly gets dark.

Then, heavy rain starts to fall.

At first, I was very surprised.

I thought, “It was sunny just a moment ago.”

One time, I hung my laundry outside

and went out.

When I came back,

all the laundry was wet.

I thought, “Oh no, I messed up.”

In Singapore, it suddenly rains.

So when I go out,

I have to bring a folding umbrella every day.

A folding umbrella is small and easy to carry.

Since coming to Singapore,

a folding umbrella has become something I always bring every day.

I also check the weather forecast.

But to be honest, I feel it is not very accurate.

Some days are forecast to be rainy all day.

But it does not rain all the time.

It rains a little, then it stops again.

The time when it rains is different every day.

That is a little difficult.

But on rainy days, it is cool.

Sometimes, it even feels a little cold.

It is not too hot, and I feel comfortable.

In Japan, there is also a rainy season called tsuyu.

During the rainy season in Japan, it really rains all day.

Compared to that,

I think the rainy season in Singapore is not so bad.

I feel that Japan’s rainy season is much more humid.

At first, I thought the humidity in Singapore was very strong.

My body felt sticky.

But now, it does not bother me much.

I think I have gotten used to it.

Rain in Singapore is not so bad.
