Judging Judy 37 - Toe Be or Not Toe Be

This week, we’ve got two cases: one over an engagement ring after a failed engagement and one about a dog with one missing toe. Judy’s going to have to decide whether the defendant was right to sell the ring in the first case. Then, she’ll have to decide whether the dog owner should get a discount.
And, more importantly, we’ll have to decide if Judy is innocent, because this is Judging Judy, the comedy podcast that finally, after all these years, turns the tables on America’s favorite, least favorite Judge.

Our first case has a couple whose engagement lasted than six months. When things were over, she gave him a check that covered some of the cost of the ring, but not the ring itself. She says she deserved some of the money herself both because she worked hard to find the ring and she owed her boss a kickback for helping her get it. The plaintiff says that since he can’t get the ring back, he wants to be paid in full.
Meanwhile, our second case has an elderly woman complaining the dog that she bought to breed didn’t come as promised because it’s missing a toe. Her claim is that now she won’t able to get more puppies out of it. The breeder says he’s more than happy to pay her back; but only if he gets the dog back.
Judy’s going to have to decide who gets paid and who doesn’t. We’re going to have to decide whether Judy delivered justice. If so, she’s innocent.
But if not, she’s guilty.
