Finding Lucy's Headstone | After Midnight

For nearly twelve years, nothing about the old house ever felt unusual. No ghost stories. No strange noises. No reason to believe anything paranormal had ever happened there.

Then the family replaced the backyard fence.

What began as a normal weekend project slowly turned into something none of them could explain after they uncovered a weathered child’s headstone buried beneath the property line. Soon afterward, the atmosphere inside the house began changing. Footsteps crossed the laundry room late at night. The dogs refused to go near the fence after dark. And somewhere outside near the disturbed dirt, a little girl could occasionally be seen standing silently beside the alley.

But the deeper the family looked into the history of the marker, the stranger the story became.
