Good morning everyone, I'm your host Harlee, and this is the Ranch Collective Podcast, where we talk with western industry professionals to share, educate, and give a platform to those inside the industry, and to give those who are outside of it a look at the day to day by having real conversations with guests.

What is Tales from a Ranch Manager? It's the stories shared by ranch managers, hands, cowboys, and anyone else who works on farms or ranches, but doesn't have an ownership stake in the operation. I have lots of these special people in my life, and thought it was time to devote some minisodes to sharing their stories with you.

Today I am back with my most favorite human being, Josiah. If you missed the last episode, Josiah has lived on ranches for most of his life, between growing up on ranches across the country, and then handing, assistant managing, and managing several as an adult. Today, he is sharing some of his experiences in the mismatch of expectations between management and ownership- and specifically, what they looked like for him.
