UTX #013 - Future of Computing (Biological Computing, Edge Computing, Federated Learning)

Traditionally, computer chips were based on specific properties of atomic particles. In quantum computers, which we covered in the 5th episode of the UTX podcast, the chips are based on subatomic particles. But there is one level that promises exponentially enhanced speed, storage capabilities and much more: Biological computing.

But we're not going to stop there: As this is our 3rd and final part of our "Machine Intelligence" series, we will be discussing 3 of the most promising concepts that will help bring AI to the next level. On the hardware side, we have biological computing. On the software side, we have federated learning, and on the networking side, we have edge computing! Let's explore!

Utopian Techniax (UTX) is a futurist podcast, YouTube channel and blog. UTX episodes feature a discussion about a particular emerging technology, its limitations and application use cases, as well as a utopia - an imagined tomorrow enhanced by the technology's potential. Stay Utopian, Your Techniax!
