Connell explains that while Chelsea's internal valuation demands upwards of £50 million, the cold hard truth is that their actual fair market value has plummeted to "33.6 million". By rejecting stable, long-term deals, the ownership has mistakenly treated the historic kit like an advertising "billboard where brands can just interchangeably come in and out for a few weeks or a couple of months".
