Cynthia is a board-certified nurse practitioner, women’s health educator, and leading voice on the gut–hormone connection in midlife. With over two decades of clinical experience, she helps women understand how microbiome changes during perimenopause and menopause drive inflammation, metabolic dysfunction, cognitive changes, and mood shifts. She is also the host of the Everyday Wellness podcast, where she explores evidence-based approaches to metabolic health, longevity, and women’s wellness with leading experts. Her TEDx talk on intermittent fasting has been viewed over 15 million times, and her work bridges science-backed medicine with compassionate, practical guidance for women over 40.
