And when someone finally forced their way in, they found a scene that would haunt the nation for years: a husband, a wife, and even their infant daughter, all slaughtered.

And in another room, an eight-year-old girl, barely breathing, her arm severed at the joint. She was the only witness. She was also, somehow, still alive.

Part 2: We follow along with officers as they trace down the murderer, Lê Văn Luyện. Along the way, we'll also discover the complications that arguably prevented commensurate justice from being served in this case.
