Melting: Your Sunday Reset from Ice to Ease

Melting: Your Sunday Reset from Ice to Ease

# Relaxation Script Hey there, and welcome. I'm Julia Cartwright, and I'm so glad you're here. You know, it's early Sunday morning, and I have a feeling you might be carrying some weight from the week—maybe that Sunday scoop of worry about what's coming next, or just the general hum of being human in a busy world. Today, we're going to practice what I call "melting," and trust me, by the time we're done, you're going to feel like you've taken a long exhale that actually counts. So find yourself somewhere comfortable. That could be your bed, a chair, the floor with some pillows—honestly, anywhere your body feels supported. You don't need perfect posture or perfect conditions. Just settle in like you're sinking into warm water. Now let's begin with your breath. Not the breath you think you should be taking, but the one that's already happening. Notice it for a moment. In through your nose, out through your mouth. On your next exhale, let your shoulders drop away from your ears. Feel that? That's relaxation beginning. Okay, here's what we're going to do. I want you to imagine your body is made of ice that's slowly turning to water in the sun. Starting at the crown of your head, let your attention drift down, and with it, let each part soften. Your forehead doesn't have to hold anything right now. Let it smooth out. Your eyes can rest behind your eyelids like they're floating. Move down to your jaw. Most of us hold tension here like it's our job. It's not. Let your teeth separate just slightly. Feel your neck releasing, your shoulders becoming heavy. Imagine warmth pooling there, melting away anything held. Down through your chest, your belly, your low back. With each breath, you're not pushing relaxation in; you're just allowing what's already there to be noticed. Your legs can feel heavy and supported. Your feet can soften into whatever surface holds them. Stay here for a few more breaths. There's nothing to do, nowhere to be. Just you and this moment of genuine ease. As we close, carry this feeling forward. Tonight, when you brush your teeth or make tea, pause for just one conscious breath and remember this softness you found. Your body knows how to relax; sometimes it just needs permission. Thank you so much for spending this time with me on Relaxation. If this landed for you, please subscribe so we can practice together again soon. You deserve this peace. Truly. For great deals today, check out https://amzn.to/47ZqpWT
