Episode #8 Meet Lisa Halpenny

Episode #8 Meet Lisa Halpenny

Lisa and I share our story, one that we've been talking about telling for some time now.

We go back a long way with well over 30 years of friendship behind us. In this conversation we share how we've coped since losing our business Kids Cook during the pandemic.

Kids Cook opened in 2013 but sadly we never reopened after that infamous day in March 2020 when all the schools closed, including us..

Our story is one of reflection and acknowledgment of what Kids Cook was but it's also one of great sadness. Lisa and Kerri lost their sister Heather in January 2021 and the years that have followed been those of unbelievable heartache, grief and huge change for everyone.

I love Lisa dearly and I am so very proud of her quiet determination in the toughest of times, she is one of the bravest people I know and I am beyond blessed to have her in my life.

Thank you Ali Freeman for guest hosting this episode 🙏
