Story Text

Naomi ist eine Nagelkünstlerin aus Japan. Mit ihren Nageldesigns möchte sie auf Umweltprobleme aufmerksam machen. Sie will, dass mehr Menschen sich um Plastikmüll kümmern. Nachdem sie einen Strand sauber gemacht hatte, fing sie an, kleine Plastikstücke für Nageldekorationen zu benutzen. Sie sammelt, sortiert und schmilzt das Plastik vom Strand und formt daraus kleine Stücke. Diese Stücke benutzt sie dann für besondere Nageldesigns. Seit dem Jahr 2021 macht sie diese besondere Kunst. Drei Jahre davor hat sie ihren Nagelsalon eröffnet. Vorher hat sie als Sozialarbeiterin gearbeitet. Wegen Rückenschmerzen hat sie ihren Beruf gewechselt und wurde Nagelkünstlerin. Sie hat gemerkt, dass sie auch als Nagelkünstlerin den Menschen und der Umwelt helfen kann. Ihre Aktionen sind klein, aber sie hofft, dass die Menschen dadurch mehr über Umweltprobleme lernen.
