Servant of the Gospel | Jeff Prosser

Servant of the Gospel | Jeff Prosser

Ephesians 3:1–13 — You're not just saved; you're sent. Missions and Groups Pastor Jeff Prosser on being a servant of the gospel, in A Study Through Ephesians at Severns Valley.

Jeff opens with the question students asked him most across years of ministry — a question about purpose. Paul's answer: the gospel was meant to be seen, not hidden, and we're not only called to believe it but to help others see it clearly. The mystery — Jews and Gentiles made one in Christ, salvation offered to everyone — is God's deliberate plan, and we've been included in the mission to reveal Christ to the world.

A few things to carry into your week: - You're not just saved — you're included in the mission to make Christ visible. - The gospel is meant to be proclaimed and seen, not hidden under a bushel. - The mystery on display is unity: Jew and Gentile, one in Christ, salvation for everyone. - It was God's intentional plan from before time — plan A, because there is no plan B.

"How are you advancing the gospel this week so the people around you can clearly see it?"
