TEXANS WR ROOM STILL ISN’T GOOD ENOUGH! Zay Jones + Sterling Shepard Won’t Fix This

The Houston Texans added TWO veteran wide receivers — Zay Jones and Sterling Shepard — but let’s be straight up: is this enough for C.J. Stroud?

Zay Jones had just 12 catches for 183 yards and 0 TDs in eight games with Arizona last season, and he’s coming off an Achilles tear. His best season came back in 2022.

Sterling Shepard gave Tampa Bay 39 catches for 371 yards and 1 TD in 13 games last season.

Meanwhile, Jaylin Noel is dealing with a hamstring injury, and while Jaylin Bond has made plenty of impressive plays in practice, those moments haven't translated consistently when the pads come on and the game gets live.
