Working the information desk at a large hospital meant spending her days helping visitors find loved ones, locate rooms, and navigate a building where life and death were part of the everyday routine.

One afternoon, she stepped into the nearly empty restroom just off the main lobby. She knew she was alone when she entered, but moments later, she clearly sensed someone else come in. From beneath the stall divider, she saw dark pants and shoes move into the stall beside her.
