On this week’s episode of the Peter Crouch Podcast, Pete, Sids and Chris are joined by England, Nottingham Forest and Manchester City legend Stuart Pearce — aka Psycho — for a proper trip down memory lane.

Stuart opens up about his remarkable journey from playing non-league football and working as an electrician to becoming a professional footballer, England international and one of the most recognisable defenders of his generation. He tells the story of how a chance encounter with Brian Clough eventually led to his move to Nottingham Forest, and how the famous “Psycho” nickname came about.

The lads also get into Stuart’s England career, including the highs and lows of Italia ’90 and Euro ’96, his infamous penalty miss against Germany, and the emotional redemption of scoring from the spot against Spain six years later.
