Cy: Mae gwynt y gwanwyn yn ysgubo drwy'r strydoedd wrth i blant Ysgol Dewi Sant gerdded tuag at yr adeilad mawr lle mae'r pleidleisio'n digwydd.
En: The spring breeze sweeps through the streets as the children of Ysgol Dewi Sant walk towards the large building where the voting is taking place.

Cy: Mae Gareth, deuddeg oed gyda llygad melfed ac yn frwd i brofi byd oedolion, yn sefyll yno wrth ymyl ei athrawes, Aneira.
En: Gareth, twelve years old with velvet eyes and eager to experience the adult world, stands there next to his teacher, Aneira.

Cy: "Dyma'r lle," meddai Aneira, yn rhoi gwên tawel i'r dosbarth.
En: "This is the place," says Aneira, giving the class a quiet smile.

Cy: "Mae pleidleisio yn bwysig iawn.
En: "Voting is very important.

Cy: Mae'n ein cyfle ni i ddweud ein barn," ychwanega hi, gan edrych ar Gareth, sydd yn edrych hyd y tu mewn gyda golwg awchus.
En: It's our chance to voice our opinion," she adds, looking at Gareth, who is gazing inside with an eager expression.

Cy: "Beth yw'r holl brysurdeb?
En: "What's all the commotion?"

En: asked Gareth in a quiet voice as they moved into the building.

En: "This is the first time many of these people have voted," explains Aneira.

Cy: Wrth iddynt symud yn agosach at y bwrdd derbyn, mae Gareth yn sylwi ar Garys, ei gyfaill twyllodrus, yn daeog edrych tuag at y bythau pleidleisio.
En: As they move closer to the reception desk, Gareth notices Garys, his mischievous friend, slyly looking towards the voting booths.

Cy: "Hei, Gareth," byddai Garys yn gwhisgwr o'r ochr arall.
En: "Hey, Gareth," Garys would whisper from the other side.

Cy: "Beth am ni fynd yno?
En: "How about we go there?

Cy: Gawn ni weld sut mae'n gweithio!
En: We can see how it works!"

Cy: "Gwrthododd Gareth y syniad gyda sipyn bach o chwerthin sy'n cuddio'i bryder.
En: Gareth rejected the idea with a small laugh that hides his concern.

Cy: "Na, Garys.
En: "No, Garys.

Cy: Dw i eisiau dysgu fwy hefo gofyn cwestiynau.
En: I want to learn more by asking questions.

Cy: Mae hynny'n bwysicach," meddai Gareth yn sydyn.
En: That’s more important," Gareth said suddenly.

Cy: Mae cerdded drwy'r rhesi, Gareth a phlant eraill yn casglu gwybodaeth wrth i Aneira egluro rôl y bleidlais.
En: Walking through the rows, Gareth and the other children gather information as Aneira explains the role of the vote.

Cy: Ond, mae Garys, heb ei cadoedi, yn symud tua'r bwt.
En: But, Garys, undeterred, moves towards the booth.

Cy: "Peidiwch, Garys," mae Gareth yn bloeddio, yn cau'r ymyl rhwng ef a'i gyfaill.
En: "Don't, Garys," Gareth shouts, closing the gap between him and his friend.

Cy: "Mae hyn yn bwysig!
En: "This is important!

Cy: Ni allwn ddigio’r rheolau.
En: We can't disregard the rules."

Cy: "Canfu e Gareth dewrder mewnoleddol wrth iddo esbonio pwysigrwydd parch a phroses.
En: Gareth found inner courage as he explained the importance of respect and process.

Cy: Garys yn ddigynnwrf yn edrych arno, yn chwilfrydig a syndod ar ei hwyneb.
En: Garys, unruffled, looks at him, curious and surprised on his face.

Cy: "Iawn, iawn, Gareth.
En: "Alright, alright, Gareth.

Cy: Ti'n iawn," meddai, yn yr olaf yn tynnu'n ôl o'i syniadau twyllodrus.
En: You're right," he says, finally backing away from his mischievous ideas.

Cy: Ar ddiwedd y daith, mae Aneira yn cymryd Gareth i'r neilltu.
En: At the end of the journey, Aneira takes Gareth aside.

Cy: "Rydw i'n gweld dywaith di, Gareth," meddai, gan hyfforddi ei llais fel melôdy.
En: "I see your work, Gareth," she says, tuning her voice like a melody.

Cy: "Dyma bleidlais mock i ti ymarfer.
En: "Here is a mock vote for you to practice."
