Story Transcript:

Cy: Ar ben bryn gwyrdd yn niwylltir Cymru, lle mae'r cerrig aros wedi hen sefydlu, roedd Eira, Gwyn, a Llew yn sefyll dan gysgod y cylch cerrig hynafol.
En: On a green hill in the wilds of Cymru, where the standing stones have long been established, Eira, Gwyn, and Llew stood under the shadow of the ancient stone circle.

Cy: Roedd yr awyr yn ddisglair ac yn boeth, ond roedd awgrym o storm yn yr oerni a ddaliai mewn cwmwl cefndir.
En: The sky was bright and hot, but there was a hint of storm in the chill that held within a background cloud.

Cy: Roedd fel pe baent ar ddiroedd sanctaidd, lle roedd amser wedi'i gopïo gan gerrig yn hytrach na llyfrau.
En: It felt as if they were on sacred ground, where time had been recorded by stones rather than books.

Cy: Eira sefyll yn dawel, a golwg dychrynllyd yn ei llygaid.
En: Eira stood silently, a terrifying look in her eyes.

Cy: “Mae dy dad wedi caru'r lle hwn,” siaradaeth hi, yn dal llaw Llew ac yn edrych ar Gwyn, er mwyn ei theimlo.
En: “Your father loved this place,” she spoke, holding Llew's hand and looking at Gwyn, to sense her.

Cy: “Roedd yn dweud bod y cerrig hyn yn byw ac yn clywed ein deisyfiadau.”
En: “He used to say that these stones are alive and hear our prayers.”

Cy: Safai Gwyn, hen famol ei wyneb, gyda'i breichiau wedi'i chroesi.
En: Gwyn stood, her face earnest, with her arms crossed.

Cy: “Nid wyf yn gweld sut bydd hyn yn ein helpu ni,” safle hi yn ddiddiwedd.
En: “I don’t see how this will help us,” she stood endlessly.

Cy: Ond roedd rhywbeth am lefydd, rywsut, wedi dod â gostyngiad yn ei chalon.
En: But there was something about the place that, somehow, had brought a softening in her heart.

Cy: Daeth Llew agos at y cerrig, ei lyfrnod bach yn chwilio am arwyddion unrhyw bresenoldeb ysbrydol.
En: Llew came close to the stones, his small notebook searching for signs of any spiritual presence.

Cy: Roedd y myfyrwyr gwyddoniaeth uchel ei gelwyddau yn ei lygaid.
En: His scientific mind was bright in his eyes.

Cy: “Os gwelwch yn dda, Dad, cymerof wybod beth o’ch cyfrinachau,” siaradaeth gyda’r awel.
En: “Please, Dad, let me know some of your secrets,” he spoke to the breeze.

Cy: Roedd Eira yn gwybod mai nid hawdd fyddai denu Gwyn allan o blentyn curodi a digofaint.
En: Eira knew it wouldn’t be easy to draw Gwyn out of a child’s brooding and anger.

Cy: Penderfynodd hi adrodd stori, fel yr arferai eu tad.
En: She decided to tell a story, as their father used to.

Cy: “Mae stori’r lle hwn yn un anhygoel,” dechreuodd hi’n ddwfn.
En: “The story of this place is an incredible one,” she began deeply.

Cy: “Cyn cof, dywedir bod y cerrig yn gyrff ddewiniaid sy’n amddiffyn y tir.
En: “Long ago, it is said the stones are the bodies of druids protecting the land.

Cy: Roedd dy dad yn dywed bod fersiwn o’r stori ble mae'r carreg fawr hon yn borth i fyd arall.
En: Your father used to say there’s a version of the story where this big stone is a portal to another world.”

Cy: Gosododd Gwyn ei llygaid ar y garreg fawr, am y tro cyntaf gan edrych arni gyda diddordeb go iawn.
En: Gwyn set her eyes on the big stone, for the first time looking at it with genuine interest.

Cy: Teimlodd y dirgryniadau ysgafn yn dod o'r cyfeiriad, a rhywbeth yn symud yn ei chalonnau.
En: She felt the light vibrations coming from its direction and something move within her heart.

Cy: Yna, yr awyr drawst ler y bryn ddechreuodd trosglwyddo ei dafod, a gyrrwyd trycherog.
En: Then, the sky across the hill began to sound its tongue and drove angered.

Cy: Cawod drom a tharanog roo'n disgyn o fin y gorwel.
En: A heavy and thundering shower started to fall from the edge of the horizon.

Cy: “Rhaid i ni loches yn y cylch!” siaradaeth Llew, yn cludo ei nain tuag at y cerrig a chefnogi Gwyn ar hyd y ffordd.
En: “We must shelter in the circle!” Llew spoke, guiding his grandmother towards the stones and supporting Gwyn along the way.

Cy: Yn yr amddiffynfa tymor fer eu creu gan y cerrig, roedd y teulu yn cuddio.
En: In the short-term protection created by the stones, the family hid.

Cy: Roedd y glaw trigol llawen ar y caeau ond fe wnaeth y teulu eu cyd-dynnu.
En: The joyful rain fell on the fields, but the family held each other tight.

Cy: Yn y cysgodau'r cerrig, torrodd Gwyn y dawelwch.
En: In the shadows of the stones, Gwyn broke the silence.

Cy: “Rwy’n gweld y cerrig, rwy’n eu hysibrâu - roedd Dad yn gwybod.” Dagrau'n llifo ar hyd ei hyllagau.
En: “I see the stones, I feel their whispers - Dad knew.” Tears flowed down her cheeks.

Cy: Cysylltwyd Eira a roesman i Gwyn, yn dabodi gyda hithau'n dawel.
En: Eira reached and held Gwyn, nodding with her silently.

Cy: “Mae ef yma gyda ni, drwy ein cariad at ein gilydd,” gofrestrodd hi’n foel, gan bwylltio Gwyn yn ei harfog.
En: “He is here with us, through our love for one another,” she reassured quietly, embracing Gwyn in her arms.

Cy: Wedi i'r storm adael ei ffrwyn, codasant o'r cylch, yn fwy cobeb, yn dyn a gilydd.
En: As the storm released its grip, they rose from the circle, more bonded, close to each other.

Cy: Y golau haul hefyd oedd yn bwrw dros yr agoryddion fäerü ac yn bwrw blith.
En: The sunlight also poured over the meadows, shining bright.

Cy: Llew edrychodd ganrif uwch y ffurf, dra pysal.
En: Llew looked towards the horizon, deeply thoughtful.

Cy: “Mae dad wedi bod gyda ni,” datganodd â hyder.
En: “Dad has been with us,” he declared confidently.

Cy: Roedd y teulu'n cerdded ar hyd y brynhawn, gyda nhw'n cysylltu o'r newydd gan un plyg o fraw sydd o'u gobeithiau.
En: The family walked along the afternoon, with bonds renewed by a shared hope.

Cy: Roeddent wedi derbyn cariad, erbyn hyn deall bod dau ddyn a dim un bu ansicrwydd yn bwysicach.
En: They had received love, now understanding that togetherness had no uncertainties more important.

Cy: Roedd ynddynt bob troes tuag at ei gilydd, ym mlwyddyn eu diolchgarwch.
En: They turned towards one another, in a year of their gratitude.
