Ro: În piața din sat mirosea a toamnă.
En: In the village market, it smelled like autumn.

Ro: Frunzele cădeau peste pământul umed, iar un vânt blând aducea ploaia ușoară.
En: Leaves were falling over the wet ground, and a gentle wind was bringing light rain.

Ro: Era zi de piață.
En: It was market day.

Ro: Oamenii se adunau de dimineață, cu coșuri pline de fructe și legume.
En: People gathered from the morning, with baskets full of fruits and vegetables.

Ro: Piețarul striga anunțând produsele proaspete, iar atmosfera era gălăgioasă și caldă.
En: The piețar was shouting, announcing the fresh products, and the atmosphere was noisy and warm.

Ro: Andrei își aranjase taraba cu grijă.
En: Andrei had carefully arranged his stand.
