Roster tightened - VGK ready to start season Tuesday

The Golden Knights waived five players Sunday as the team prepares to send the league its opening day roster by this afternoon. After the move it appears Trevor Connelly has made the roster and will be a starter on the wing. The 13th forward appears to be Raphael Lavoie, who netted 30 AHL goals in Henderson. The seventh defenseman is expected to be Dylan Coghlan. Alexander Holtz, Jonas Rondbjerg, Tanner Laczynski, Antii Tuimisto and Ville Heinola were waived.
