21 Babies, a $3 Million Mansion & the Secret Nobody Was Supposed to See | Surrogacy House of Horrors

Twenty-one children. A $3.2 million mansion. And surrogates who say the family they helped create was nothing like the one they were promised. In this episode of Hidden True Crime, Lauren Matthias examines the disturbing Arcadia, California, “house of horrors” case involving Guojun and Silvia Shasha Zhang. Prosecutors allege the pair participated in child abuse, concealed an infant’s injuries, and attempted to stop children from reporting what happened inside their Los Angeles County home. We trace the story behind Mark Surrogacy, the women who say they were misled into carrying babies for the couple, and the surveillance footage investigators say exposed abuse behind the mansion’s doors.
