- There are a lot of reasons someone would want to, need to, or prefer to play alone. Let’s break these areas down and see what kind of advice we and the chatroom can come up with to help people out.
- Some people just want to play alone.
- Some people just aren’t ready to come out of their kink closet.
- The time it takes to find a partner these days can be quite time-consuming and not everyone has the availability to find someone.
- They haven’t found someone that shares their kink.
- Proximity to others that share their kinks and fetishes.
- Besides being single or living in an area where a social kink community is nonexistent, there are a lot of people with social anxiety, depression, covid fears, and health issues that prevent them from meeting others.
- Unfortunately, trauma-based distrust is another reason an alarming number of people won’t or can’t play with others.
Finally, maybe their kink doesn’t require another person.

Keep your phone where you can reach it and use it at all times.
Figure out an aftercare plan BEFORE you play.
Before you ever start have your personal and predetermined safety plan in place.
